Bottom line first: If you want to bring tropical home decor back to Taiwan, don’t buy in tourist areas—the home decor wholesale markets around Ubud and Tegallalang are half the price of tourist spots (seashell hanging lamps under $30 USD), and you can bargain. Shipping back can be by sea (cheap but slow) or air (fast but pricier). These shops aren’t in tourist zones—they’re insider routes. Below is a must-visit list and shipping guide.
In Bali, besides lounging at Villas and hitting attractions, the best thing to do— is to haul a whole suitcase of home decor and crafts back to Taiwan! 🎁

These shops aren’t in tourist areas—they’re insider routes. Prices are super friendly, half of what you’d find in tourist spots, and you can bargain too! (Thanks to my driver for helping me score huge discounts 🥰)

✨ Must-Buy Highlight: Seashell Hanging Lamps
I actually brought a seashell hanging lamp back to Taiwan! Packed flat and compact, super easy to carry. One for under $32 USD… Now I’m still thinking, why didn’t I buy another suitcase to bring back more, haha~

Now my room is decked out with full Bali vibes, Every day I feel like I’m still staying in a Villa 🌿
📍 Three Treasure-Hunting Routes Recommended (Google Maps Navigable)
1️⃣ First Stop: Near Ubud Palace (about 14 minutes by car)
Street: JI. Raya Andong The roadside is lined with various small shops selling:
- Woven lamps
- Chairs
- Bags
- Bamboo baskets
- Dream catchers
- Shell lamps and other handmade crafts
2️⃣ Second Stop: Near Seminyak (about 14 minutes by car from Seminyak Village shopping mall)
Street: JI. Gn. Athena The shops here have a more upgraded look, but the prices are still very affordable!
3️⃣ Route 3: Canggu Main Road (Lots of home decor shops along this stretch)
Street name: Jl. Raya Canggu
For the Shopaholic
I’ve personally curated a bunch of quality stores and visited them all — my wallet didn’t stand a chance 😂. If you’re heading to Bali soon and love treasure hunting or decorating your home, these three routes are perfect for your itinerary.
