Want to visit Bali? There’s now a fantastic new option. STARLUX Airlines officially launched its Taipei–Bali route on October 1, with the inaugural flight JX765 departing from Taoyuan International Airport at 10:10 AM, followed by 5 weekly services. Bali is STARLUX’s second destination in Indonesia, and with this new route, the airline’s network expands to 34 cities. ## **Boarding Lounge Transforms into a Yoga Studio** ![](https://imgcdn.cna.com.tw/www/WebPhotos/1024/20261001/1152x768_wmky_0_C20261001000070.jpg) (Source: Central News Agency) The inaugural event was held in the Taoyuan Airport boarding lounge. STARLUX partnered with Canadian sportswear brand lululemon, inviting brand ambassadors to lead passengers in a yoga session. Before even boarding, travelers could slip into Bali’s relaxed rhythm. After the flight arrived at Ngurah Rai International Airport, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the new route. ## **Why Bali?** Beyond its island resort appeal, Bali draws travelers with yoga, wellness retreats, and slow living experiences. STARLUX CEO Chien-Hua Chai noted that this route strengthens the airline’s Asian network and aims to connect European and American travelers via Taiwan’s Taoyuan Airport transit, linking Southeast Asia with Western markets. ## **Exclusive Souvenir for Inaugural Passengers** - lululemon sports water bottle - Suntory skincare set - DJB 5-day unlimited eSIM for Indonesia - STARLUX ‘LINK MONSTER Shuttle Bus Shaped iCASH’ ![](https://images.gobaligo.id/vocus/vocus_56e1e08579b091ee293cec4cbb024553.jpg) ## Direct Flights from Taiwan to Bali (Departing from Taoyuan) Currently, three airlines—China Airlines, EVA Air, and STARLUX—offer direct flights from Taoyuan to Bali, with a flight time of just over 5 hours.
